Purpose Of Art

What is the purpose of art? By the by, it should be relevant to ask why we need it and what does it stand for? Well, just try to think it from your point of view. What do you do when you see an artistic creation?
At first you get attracted- then pleased, and finally try to understand and perceive the meaning of it. Then what you do? Try to stretch your imagination to get a full meaning of it.
Ok. So you can say the purpose of art is to give pleasure. When you try to get the meaning of it- art is playing the role of a communicator and lastly help you to refresh your mind when you stretch your imagination to understand the full meaning of it.
Then try to think it from an artist's perspective. To him the purpose of art is expression. Again expression means sending of ideas. Artist is born in society and nurtured by it. So it is quite natural for him that he would be a part and parcel of the society. Therefore, the idea and the panorama of his contemporary society might be captured through his artistic creations. So the another purpose of art is to reflect the society that draws us back to it, holds us there, grows inside us and becomes a part of us.
Art is the index-ion of the society that helps us to get a picture of the contemporary society. It models our behaviors, shapes our beliefs and creates a shared experience. The purpose of art is to capture and arrest the organic life, panoramic view and moment in a plastic frame. That is to capture dynamic life in a static frame. It is the visualization of human attitude towards life and towards the world. Its purpose is to realize and actualize the mirror of the human psyche to respond to the impulsion from within to solve the mystery of our individual existence- to find the authentic Self that is, has been and ever shall be.

Art defines us as human beings, shows upfront who we are, and gives us a definition for our place in the world. Art is around us everywhere, no matter where we go or what we do, art surrounds us. If you believe you are creative and your imagination goes in depth farther than you can handle, studying art & design may be the best choice for you. Think about the TV show Project Runway. Fashion designers turn what you might think to be out of the ordinary, strange looking, or distasteful, and turn it into something gorgeous, lively, and eye-catching. When you see a top model wearing their clothing, you think to yourself, "Wow, I want to be him/her!". These fashion designers aspire their artwork to be displayed on huge billboards in New York City, in magazines, or even your local mall. They take what they are passionate about and turn it into reality. A fragment of their imagination suddenly becomes the next Autumn trend, something you would run to the mall and purchase.
But to make a career out of any type of art and design, you must go to art school. We go to school not just to get a degree and start working immediately, but because we are passionate and care deeply about our field. With art and design, there are endless possibilities and too many things to learn, and the best place to learn is to go to a great art school that is right for you. Sure, you can learn on your own by reading books, or doodling on a pad with a pencil, but you will never learn as much as your potential allows without a great school. Attending a school for what you want to become will actually help get you to that apex point. Someone who does art for a hobby will always be "doing art". But a professional is motivated, someone who goes beyond just drawing and imagining and actually creating.
If you see yourself frequently looking at different types of artwork, visiting museums often or gazing at artwork and imagining a whole new meaning to the piece than what the artist/designer had originally intended, going to art school is a must for you. Not only will you be learning new things about what you love, you'll be making it a permanent aspect of your future that will help you achieve your dreamed of goals and living the life that you want. But where exactly do you start looking? With all the art and design schools that are available to us now, it may be overwhelming to see all the choices this field has to offer.

Whether you are looking to design clothing for a specific audience, or you want to build beautiful homes for future families, our website http://www.careerschooladvisor.com/programs/art-design/ can narrow down your search to the best options possible. No matter whom you are, whether you just stepped out of high school, or you're a working parent who wants to further continue your education in arts and design, we have the school you are looking for because we focus on your needs and where you are standing.
When we look around us, we see a lot of things that relate to art, contain art, are art and shows art. Art is everywhere because people need to use it for daily uses. Art can come in the form of many things, including posters, murals, portraits, covers, paintings and more. However, why do people everyday use it? What significance does it hold?
A common usage of art is to show ideas. Ideas can come in many forms, writing, talking but art is and can be viewed by many without the need of voice. People look at art to look at different ideas that they want to know more about or may be studying. Art can shows ideas about the past, what has happened as of late, what is currently happening and what may happen in the future. Art can show ideas about society, something good or something bad.
Art can also be used to show meaning. People can use art to show love, to show boredom and to show creativity. Art can be meaningful because of the images that can be collected into one small area. It is then up to the person to look at this form of art and to think about it and to make a conclusion about it. Is it shocking, it is sad or is it nice? If someone is sad, they may choose to paint something that is deep, dark and not bright. If someone is in joyful mood, they may want to paint beautiful things in life, such as children, nature and seasons. Art is meaningful because of the colors, shapes and depictions it can create.
Art can also be used to liven up things in this world. It may not have a specific idea or meaning but it can be used to make things look better and more complete. When you write a report, it looks dull, but when you add a picture or two to it, it looks much better because now there is visual aid. Art is found everywhere, including parks, buildings, and is used just to make the place more comfortable and appealing to the public. It can sometimes act as filler because it looks better than to just leave something on its own.
Art is also a great tool for learning. Art can be found in almost everywhere where there is a school. Art is important because of what it can be used for. Art is fun and acts as an interactive tool for reluctant learners, younger students. However, when these students grow up, they can learn to appreciate art for what it can do for them. In the process, people can learn a lot because art is almost as effective as written things. Sometimes, art and writing go hand in hand.
One obviously reason for the art, is that many people depend on it. People who draw are not the only people who use and make money off of art. People who are book publishers, magazine editors, newspaper people all need to use art to supplement their work. Art is used by some people directly and some indirectly. People can choose to make a profession out of this because it is fun for them; it is something that they like to do, and more.
Art can show the passage of time. During parts of history, writing was not used by certain civilizations because they did not know how to use it, such as the caveman. However, they were still able to communicate through means of art. They used art to show cravings and to represent things in life. This is why we understand so much about the past. We can see the thought process of these people and how they used their materials.
Art also acts as a great thinking agent. It allows for thought because of what it means to analyze art. People are not suppose to just look at art for what it is. They are supposed to draw ideas and to really think about what is going on in the picture. Art stimulates thought because it is required for greater understanding.
Lastly, art connects people around the war. Although, art is not a language, people do not need to know anything about another language and can draw ideas from what they see. Everyone in the world can make their own voice heard. Everyone can see.
